If “failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor” (Truman Capote), how spicy do you like your success stories?
I think that “failure” is only truly FAILURE if you don’t pick yourself back up and try again or move on. Otherwise, you tried. It didn’t work out. Do you think that if you do something a little different it could work? Try that. Did it work? If yes…SUCCESS! If not…try again if you feel there could be a different result. Isn’t that definition of insanity? I think some of the big success stories that I’ve read… I think that some of them would have had to have been crazy to come as far as they did, so I guess it makes sense…to me anyways.
I would like my success stories as spicy as possible. Make that stuff burn. You tried really hard. You kept trying really hard. It’s burning. A lot of success stories aren’t that exciting. Not all of them are huge breakthroughs. Sometimes things just randomly happen and it makes things better. Success isn’t always about winning. It could be about “Well, that didn’t work out, but I got a lesson out of it. I learned something.” Thank goodness for silver linings.
